Join Us for the 2024 Lake SWCD Conservation Celebration
The Lake Soil and Water Conservation District cordially invites you to help us celebrate conservation in Lake County at our Annual Dinner and Election on Thursday, October 24th at 6:00 pm at the Lake Metroparks Painesville Township Park. Join us for this fun-filled evening featuring delicious food, drinks, and special presentations by ODNR Division of Wildlife about “Returning Home: Black Bears, Bobcats, and Fishers” and “Between You, Me and the Walleye”. Vote for our next two Board Supervisors who will help guide conservation in Lake County. This year’s candidates are Jen Smyser and Jeff Hyrne.
The election is 6:00-7:00 pm, dinner begins at 7:00 pm, and the cost is $40 per person. Tickets include dinner and one drink ticket. Additional drink tickets will be available for purchase.
While anyone can attend the 2024 Lake SWCD Conservation Celebration, Lake County residents are invited to guide conservation efforts in the county by voting in the special election. A ticket is not required to vote.
