Join us to turn your forest vision into a clear, actionable plan that promotes healthy, resilient woodlands for years to come!
A well-crafted forest management plan is the foundation for making informed, sustainable decisions about your woodland. This program will guide landowners, and anyone interested in forest stewardship through the key components of developing an effective plan. Participants will the importance of identifying forest goals, assessing current conditions, and aligning management actions with those goals and conditions. Whether your goals are timber production, non-timber forest product production, recreation, or wildlife habitat, a forest management plan can help ensure long-term forest health.
Consulting Forester, Joel Firem will discuss forest management plans and how to work with a professional forester to create a plan that aligns with your goals USDA/NRCS District Conservationist, Julie Parker will continue the discission by giving an overview of conservation programs for your woodland.
This workshop is offered free of charge, but registration is required.
